I've been a little blue lately. It's easy to get that way when you think you are all alone in a desert. My desert is a sparsely populated landscape of women who are over 50 and who like (make that LOVE) to lift weights ... and lift 'em heavy.
At least that's what I "know" at this point.
Over this next month, my aim is to blog daily on what I find in this desert.
I may find I'm right (though I doubt it) ... that this land truly is a vast desert, sparsely populated. Or I may find that oasis for which I pant.
I may discover that this desert has the potential to become an oasis and begin to find others -- like-minded -- who then gather, like water vapor and dust gather to form a raindrop. Then more raindrops. Then LOTS of raindrops... until we transform this dry and desolate place by starting a downpour. I can just see us all dancing in the rain together!
Then there's always the possibility that I may find I am called to be a pioneer (among pioneers) leading the way through this desert until we come to a place where we can put down roots and raise up the next generation of women who have are living and lifting STRONG!
Let the journey begin...
